Among them, crude steel production was 2,058,800 tons per day, down 3.38% from the same caliber, 4.36% from the same period last year, and up 5.05% from the same period last year; pig iron production was 1.843,800 tons, down 1.82% from the same period last year, down 3.97% from the same period last year, and the same caliber increased 5.77% from the same period last year; steel production was 1.927,600 tons per day, down 6.65% from the same caliber, down 4.81% from the same period last year, and the same caliber increased 0.73% from the same period last year.
According to this estimate, the country's daily crude steel production this season was 2.486,700 tons, down 2.77% from the previous month, 2.143,900 tons of iron per day, down 1.37% from the previous month, and 3.335 million tons of steel per day, down 3.28% from the previous month.
At the end of early March 2024, the key statistics showed that steel inventories of steel companies were about 19.523,900 tons, up 8.35% from the previous quarter (that is, late February); 3.392 million tons, up 21.03% from the same quarter of the previous month; about 1.82 million tons, up 10.28% from the same quarter last year; and 2,842 million tons, up 17.04% from the same quarter of the previous year.
