According to the news, Shide Global announced that it is expected that the Group will earn an unaudited comprehensive profit of about HK$160 million to HK$190 million for the year ended 31 December 2023, while an audited consolidated loss of approximately HK$287 million for the year ended 31 December 2022.
The Group's unaudited comprehensive profit for the year ended 31 December 2023 mainly stemmed from the following: the Group obtained large profits attributable to associated companies in connection with the Group's flagship investment project 16 Pu in the year ended 31 December 2023, while the Group obtained approximately HK$42.1 million in associated company losses during the same period last year; and confirmed significant fair value gains from the Group's overseas listed equity securities for the year ended 31 December 2023, while a fair value loss of approximately HK$174 million was confirmed for the same period last year.
