Artificial intelligence data center energy use is expected to rise from 1% to 4% of total power consumption by 2035, according to Morgan Stanley’s Utility team.
Analysts argue that investors should be positioned for more and upgraded data center facilities “to cope with the growing energy intensity of upcoming chips,” according to a Thematics report.
