Japfa Ltd. (SG:UD2) has released an update.
Japfa Ltd. is considering a share buyback that, if fully executed, could reduce the company’s assets and equity by up to Rp350 billion, according to a recent disclosure. The financial impact of this buyback is illustrated with no change to the profit for the year, but a slight increase in both Return on Assets (ROA) and Return on Equity (ROE). The company has yet to decide whether to proceed with the buyback, despite shareholder approval and full utilization of old treasury shares.
