On March 12, GLONGHUI | Shide Global (00487.HK) announced that the company expects to record an unaudited comprehensive profit of approximately HK$160,000,000 to HK$190,000,000 for the year ended December 31, 2023, while the previous year recorded an audited comprehensive loss of approximately HK$287,100,000.
The Group's unaudited comprehensive profit for the year mainly stemmed from the following: (i) the Group recorded large profits due to associated companies in connection with the Group's flagship investment project 16 Pu during the same period last year, while the Group recorded losses attributable to associated companies of approximately HK$42,100,000 during the same period last year; and (ii) confirmed significant fair value gains from the Group's overseas listed equity securities during the year, compared with a confirmed fair value loss of approximately HK$174,100,000 for the same period last year.
