Ge Longhui, March 11 | Shanghai Film (601595.SH) announced the 2023 annual results report. During the reporting period, the company achieved operating income of 791 million yuan, an increase of 114.77% over the previous year; net profit attributable to shareholders of listed companies of 124 million yuan; and net profit attributable to shareholders of listed companies after deducting non-recurring profit and loss of 63.8845 million yuan. This year's revenue increased significantly compared to the same period last year. It was mainly due to the positive trend in the film market this year, which led to a sharp increase in the revenue of the company's cinemas, as well as the increase in revenue related to new businesses brought about after the merger. At the same time, focusing on cost reduction and efficiency, the company turned losses into profits, and greatly increased profits.
