As Easter approaches, the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong High Speed Rail increased the number of flights between West Kowloon and Futian Station for 3 consecutive weeks.
The Zhitong Finance App learned that the Easter holiday is approaching. After discussions between the domestic subway department and the MTR (00066), the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong high-speed rail service will be strengthened for three consecutive weeks on Fridays, weekends and public holidays, increasing the number of daily trains between Hong Kong West Kowloon Station and Futian Station during this period to a total of more than 100 pairs.
There will be 7 additional pairs (14) of trains between Hong Kong's West Kowloon and Futian every day on the following days:
March 15 and 22 (Friday)
March 17 and 24 (Sunday)
There will be an increase of 11 pairs (22) of trains between Hong Kong West Kowloon and Futian every day on the following days:
March 16 and 23 (Saturday)
March 29 to April 1 (Friday to Monday)
The relevant train tickets will go on sale from now (March 11). The new train schedules are all applicable to “flexible travel” same-day changes, and passengers can choose to change trains.
According to the MTR, there is expected to be a lot of traffic during the holiday season, so passengers should allow plenty of time for the itinerary. Hong Kong West Kowloon Station will also step up broadcasting and instructions, and deploy additional personnel to assist passengers.
