Among them, crude steel produced 2.13 million tons per day, up 1.38% from the same caliber, down 4.06% from the same period last year, and 2.51% higher than the same period last year; pig iron production was 1.88,900 tons, down 1.42% from the same period last year, down 6.23% from the same period last year, and 2.66% higher than the same period last year; steel production was 2.065 million tons, up 4.03% month-on-month. The same caliber decreased 8.62% from the same period last year, and the same caliber decreased 1.23% from the same period last year.
According to this estimate, the country's daily crude steel production this season was 2.457,600 tons, up 0.99% month on month, daily iron production was 2.0737 million tons, down 1.46% month on month, and daily steel production was 3.448 million tons, up 2.13% month on month. At the end of late February 2024, according to key statistics, steel inventories of steel companies were about 1.82 million tons, down 5.05% from the previous quarter (that is, mid-February); 5.8207 million tons, up 47.71% from the same quarter of the previous month; about 600,000 tons, up 3.44% from the same quarter last year; and 1.19,000 tons, up 11.92% from the same quarter of the previous year.
