Gelonghui, March 6, 丨 China Everbright Water (01857.HK) announced that following the company's date of December 8, 2023, the relevant company submitted an application to the Shenzhen Stock Exchange through its wholly-owned subsidiary for possible issuance of asset-backed securities (“possible issuance of asset-backed securities”) to eligible investors in mainland China under the Special Asset Support Plan (“the Plan”).
The board of directors of the company announced that the Shenzhen Stock Exchange issued a letter of no objection on March 5, 2024, confirming that it has no objection to the possible issuance of asset-backed securities. According to the letter of no objection, the issuance scale of the possible issuance of asset-backed securities is no more than RMB 2 billion, and the possible issuance of asset-backed securities must be completed within 12 months from the date of issuance of the letter of no objection (i.e. March 5, 2024).
