Paper stocks generally rose. As of press release, Sunshine Paper (02002) rose 6.15% to HK$1.9; Nine Dragons Paper (02689) rose 5.5% to HK$3.45; and Lee & Man Paper (02314) rose 2.3% to HK$2.22.

The Zhitong Finance App learned that paper stocks generally rose. As of press release, Sunshine Paper (02002) rose 6.15% to HK$1.9; Nine Dragons Paper (02689) rose 5.5% to HK$3.45; Liwen Paper (02314) rose 2.3% to HK$2.22; and Chenming Paper (01812) rose 1.12% to HK$1.81.

According to reports, recently, leading paper companies such as APP, Chenming Paper, and Sun Paper launched a new round of price increases. The current price increase by various companies is mainly for all card paper products and all card paper ultra-high loose products. Among them, all Zke products have increased 200 yuan/ton from the current sales price, and all ultra-high loose products have increased 300 yuan/ton from the current sales price. According to the price increase letter, this round of price increases will officially begin on April 1.

Furthermore, Galaxy Securities pointed out that March is the traditional peak season for the cultural printing paper market. Publishing tenders are about to begin, and some party building orders will be released. Short-term demand is expected to be released, and it is optimistic that the price of cultural paper will rise and profits will improve. Dongxing Securities said that at the beginning of this year, the price of cultural paper declined somewhat due to the off-season. As the traditional peak season from March to May approaches, paper prices ushered in an opportunity to rise. In late January, major cultural paper companies announced paper price increases of 100 and 200 yuan/ton in February and March, respectively. At the end of February, price increases were implemented, and the effects of the peak season on the demand side were initially evident.
