According to the news, the three departments of the Shandong Provincial Department of Transportation, the Shandong Provincial Development and Reform Commission, and the Shandong Provincial Science and Technology Department recently issued the “Notice on Temporary Exemption of Highway Tolls for Hydrogen Vehicles”. Starting March 1, 2024, hydrogen vehicles equipped with ETC packages will be exempted from highway tolls. The trial period will be 2 years, and adjustments will be made in due course after the expiration date.
Industry insiders generally believe that relevant policies will also guide the construction of hydrogen vehicle charging facilities and ETC equipment, thereby promoting the construction of hydrogen energy infrastructure and promoting the development of related industrial chains.
