According to the Zhitong Finance App, Hong Kong Chinese Limited (00655) issued an announcement. It is anticipated that the Group may obtain a profit of not less than HK$100 million from the joint venture for the year ended 31 December 2023, and approximately HK$550 million in profit for the year ended 31 December 2022. The decrease was mainly due to a reduction in the profit contributions of joint ventures from their investments recorded under the Equity Act.
It is expected that the Group may earn a consolidated profit of not less than HK$100 million in the current year, compared with a consolidated profit of HK$489 million in the previous year. The change was mainly due to a reduction in the profits of the joint ventures mentioned above.
