According to the Zhitong Finance App, Jinyi Group Holdings (00565) announced interim results for the six months ended December 31, 2023. The group achieved profit of HK$703.11 million during the period, a year-on-year decrease of 5.99%; shareholders' losses of HK$38.29 million, a year-on-year decrease of 90.21%; and a basic loss of HK1.42 cents per share.
According to the announcement, the decline in revenue during the period was due to cuts in rent, management and operating service fees for many large tenants in order to retain valuable tenants in the two shopping centers after the pandemic.
