Gelonghui, Feb. 29丨Kibing Group (601636.SH) said on the investor interactive platform that by the end of 2023, the company had 7 photovoltaic glass production lines with a total daily melting capacity of 8,200 tons. It is expected to build 3 production lines for ignition photovoltaic glass this year, with a total daily melting capacity of 1,1800 tons, ranking among the top three in the industry. The company's comparative advantages in the photovoltaic glass industry include silica sand resource advantages, the cost of silica sand is lower than the market; large tonnage production lines can not only meet the requirements of large size, lightness, and low energy consumption of component companies; management advantages. Since 2005, the company has focused on the main glass business and has accumulated a large number of rich and mature operation and management experience, which can be better replicated in the photovoltaic glass industry; regional advantages, the company's production base is located in provinces with relatively scattered production capacity, which is conducive to market expansion and coverage; the “float+photovoltaic” production capacity scale will further enhance the harvesting advantage. Since this year, domestic soda ash prices have continued to decline, and fuel prices have remained stable, showing a downward trend compared to last year; float glass prices rose at the beginning of the year, and production and sales weakened due to Spring Festival factors, but were clearly better than the same period in previous years; in January-February, the price of photovoltaic glass declined slightly, sales improved, and production and sales rates were stable.
