Gelonghui, Feb. 29 | China Travel Service Hong Kong (00308.HK) announced that the Group has seized the opportunity of the recovery of the mainland tourism market and took advantage of the momentum. Through measures such as strengthening marketing, making comprehensive efforts in product upgrading, promoting digital transformation, and improving operations, service quality and passenger experience, its tourist attractions, hotels and passenger transport businesses recorded strong operating performance during the 2024 Spring Festival. The Group's tourist attraction business received about 1.08 million visitors, up about 69% and 15% from the 2023 Spring Festival holiday period (8 days in total, “2023 Spring Festival period”) and the 2019 Spring Festival holiday period before the COVID-19 pandemic (8 days in total, “2019 Spring Festival period”); achieved revenue of about RMB 124 million, an increase of about 46% and 14% over the 2023 Spring Festival period and the 2019 Spring Festival period, respectively; including Shenzhen Window of the World, Ningxia Shapotou Scenic Area, Guangxi Detian Multinational Waterfall Scenic Area, and Lushan Peak, respectively; Both the number of visitors and revenue received by the ropeway scenic area reached record highs during the same period. The Group's five hotels in Hong Kong and Macau recorded a total revenue of approximately HK$19 million during the 2024 Spring Festival, an increase of about 82% over the 2023 Spring Festival. In addition, there was a sharp increase in the number of visitors from Hong Kong and Macau during the 2024 Spring Festival. The overall performance of the Group's passenger transport business (buses and passenger ships) was good, receiving about 163,000 visitors, an increase of about 123% over the 2023 Spring Festival; revenue was about HK$23.86 million, an increase of about 108% over the 2023 Spring Festival period.
