Dali Group (00029) announced interim results for the six months ended December 31, 2023, with revenue of HK$38.307 million, a year-on-year decrease of 3.28%; profit attributable to company owners of HK$5.366 billion, up 363,429% year on year; basic profit per share of HK$22.57; and proposed to distribute an interim dividend of HK0.5 cents per share.
According to the announcement, the group obtained total revenue of HK$38.307 million and gross profit of HK$24.914 million, which represents a decrease of about 3% and 7%, respectively, compared with the same period last year. The gross margin was around 65% (2022:68%). This result is mainly due to rental income from the Group's investment properties settled in RMB in mainland China.
According to reports, the group shared the joint venture's huge profit of HK$12.636 billion during the period, mainly from confirming fair value income from a plot of land distributed to the group by the joint venture.
