On February 29, Gelonghui International Holdings (01112.HK) issued an announcement regarding 5.625% senior notes (“notes”) due in 2024. From November 1, 2023 to February 28, 2024, the company has purchased additional notes with a total principal amount of US$21.99 million (equivalent to about 7.07% of the total initial principal amount of the notes) on the market. After the above repurchase, the total principal amount of the outstanding notes should be US$53.352 million (equivalent to approximately 17.78% of the total initial principal amount of the notes). The company has cancelled the above repurchased notes in accordance with the terms and conditions of the notes. The company uses its internal resources to disburse repurchases. The company will continue to explore opportunities to reduce the company's financing costs and optimize its capital structure.
