According to the Zhitong Finance App, Songjing Technology (01079) announced its interim results for the six months ended December 31, 2023, with continuous operating revenue of about HK$128 million, an increase of about 10.82 times over the previous year; the company owner should have accounted for an excess of HK$52.458 million, a loss of HK$17.756 million for the same period last year; earnings per share of HK$0.04.
According to the announcement, the increase in revenue was mainly due to increased sales of computer parts and consumer electronics products from other manufacturers and trade in plastic materials. The reversal of loss into profit was mainly due to the Group's confirmed proceeds from the sale of a subsidiary of approximately HK$574.12 million during the period.
