Gelonghui, Feb. 28 | Champion Technology Group (00092.HK) announced that the Group recorded total revenue of about HK$89 million for the six months ended December 31, 2023, an increase of about 24.4 times over the same period last year. This is mainly due to revenue contributions from smart city solution projects and renewable energy businesses during the period. Profit attributable to the owners of the company was approximately HK$51 million, while the loss for the same period last year was approximately HK$6 million. Earnings per share were HK1.84 cents.
The combination of hardware and software related to the business model of providing solutions through technology packages to customers (“technology business model”) has been the main business formation of the Group since its establishment. It must keep introducing new products from time to time, which is also a characteristic of the technology business model to keep up with the times in a changing and evolving world. The smart city solutions business and the renewable energy business are generally recognized as a technology business model.
