Revenue from the purchase order for this equipment has not yet been confirmed. According to the disclosure, copper plating technology can be used in solar cell manufacturing. According to industry estimates, copper plating technology can improve battery conversion efficiency by 0.3% to 0.5% compared to traditional technology.
Notably, Pudat Technology announced in mid-January that since April 1, 2023, the company has received 83 purchase orders and prototype orders for semiconductor wafer cleaning, solar cell wet processing, and solar cell copper plating equipment from various customers, an increase of 22 equipment orders over those disclosed in the company's announcement dated September 12, 2023. Revenue from these purchase orders and prototype orders has yet to be confirmed.
