Among them, demand for nighttime taxis in leisure and entertainment scenes such as food and large business districts increased 47%. According to Didi's taxi data, Beijing, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Chongqing, Xi'an, Dongguan, Hangzhou, and Foshan are the top ten most popular cities for night trips during the Lantern Festival this year.

During the Lantern Festival this year, events such as the Lantern Festival and light shows from all over the world attracted a large number of visitors. Demand for DiDi taxis to popular lantern festival locations increased by more than 100% compared to last year's Lantern Festival. Among them, places hosting lantern festivals such as the first Wenyu Thousand Lantern Festival in Beijing increased by more than 10 times.

There are also quite a few people who are catching up on the “tail” of the snow season after the year. On the day of the Lantern Festival, demand for taxis to ski resorts increased by about 20% compared to the same period last year. Among them, demand from post-95 DiDi for skiing accounted for 45%.

Around the Lantern Festival, Didi provided various forms of rewards and allowances to passengers and chauffeurs. Didi has launched commission-free campaigns for drivers in more than 200 cities across the country, including Guangzhou, Hangzhou, and Harbin. In addition, there are various forms of order completion rewards and revenue acceleration rewards. Didi also provided 10 yuan no-threshold discount vouchers for taxi users during the Lantern Festival.
