Gelonghui, Feb. 23 | Xiangjia Co., Ltd. (002982.SZ) announced that recently, freezing rain and widespread snowfall have occurred in the Hubei region of Hunan. In particular, northern Hunan has experienced massive ice and snow disasters. Affected by this, some farm sheds of Hunan Xiangjia Animal Husbandry Co., Ltd. in the Changde area were crushed by snow. After the disaster occurred, the company immediately initiated an emergency plan for the disaster situation and properly transferred the property of the affected farm as soon as possible. There were no casualties.

This snow and ice disaster involved several of the company's farms. The company organized personnel to inventory and count losses in the affected areas around the Spring Festival holiday, and basically obtained disaster data. According to preliminary statistics, the affected farm's chicken coop and supporting construction facilities, equipment, chickens, etc. were damaged. The total breeding area of the company was about 1,9571 million square meters, and the breeding area needed to be repaired due to damage caused by the disaster, accounting for 9.55% of the total breeding area; according to preliminary estimates, it is estimated that assets were damaged about 45.5772 million yuan (without considering the impact of insurance claims, etc.), of which: Direct loss of biological assets was about 16.88 million yuan, and the net asset value of the direct loss of fixed assets was about RMB 28.6972 million (of which the net damage to fixed assets was about RMB 28.6972 million) 1,650 10,000 yuan). Among the damaged assets, biological assets have already purchased property insurance. Currently, the insurance company is measuring and determining the damage, and the amount of impact on the company as a whole cannot be accurately assessed for the time being.

At present, the company has actively adopted various mitigation measures such as equipment maintenance, production scheduling, etc., and made every effort to carry out post-disaster restoration and renovation work. The damaged farm is expected to fully resume normal breeding in March 2024.
