Total subscription amount to RMB 141 million
On February 19, China Youran Animal Husbandry Group Co., Ltd. (09858) announced that China Genetics subscribed for approximately 97.32 million shares of Youran Animal Husbandry at a subscription price of RMB 1.45 per share (HK$1.60 per share), for a total subscription amount of RMB 141 million.
After this increase, the public shareholding ratio of Youran Animal Husbandry shares increased from 18.85% to 20.88%, further optimizing the company's share capital structure while enhancing the company's stock liquidity.
China Genetics' investment in Youran Animal Husbandry reflects the continued optimism of international investment institutions towards Youran Animal Husbandry. According to reports, China Genetics is comprised of OCA III Funding Fund, L.P (a subsidiary fund managed by private equity firm Olympus Capital Holdings Asia LLC, which ultimately holds 41.5%) and Tetrad Ventures Pte. Ltd (a company managed by GIC Special Investments Pte Ltd, GIC Special Investments Pte Ltd, wholly owned by GIC Private Limited, a global investment company founded in 1981 to manage Singapore's foreign exchange reserves and ultimately hold 22.7%) is an internationally renowned investment institution jointly managed by two powerful shareholders. The transaction has a six-month “lock-up period”. China Genetics will not transfer or sell its shares during this period, which fully demonstrates its investment value and long-term optimism about the development prospects of superior animal husbandry.
