According to the Zhitong Finance App, OKURA HOLDINGS (01655) announced that the Group expects to obtain no less than 1 billion yen in profit before income tax for the six months ending December 31, 2023, and approximately 163 million yen before income tax for the six months ending December 31, 2022.
The Group's performance in the first 6 months of FY2024 improved compared to the first 6 months of FY2023, mainly due to the termination of leasing one of the Group's Japanese pachinko game arcades and parking spaces (i.e. BA. Shunan Hall's properties (located in Azakaisakuminami, Oazakuriya, Shunan-Shi, Yamaguchi Prefecture, Japan) generated revised lease revenue of approximately 1,027 million yen due to the Group's acquisition of these properties in November 2023 to continue operating the Japanese pachinko game hall and parking space.
