Zhitong Finance App News, Enlightenment Environment (000826.SZ) announced that in September 2018, the company and the Nehe Municipal People's Government signed the “Nehe Environmental Protection Industrial Park Project Franchise Agreement”. The project scale is 600 tons of garbage per day, the project investment amount is 315 million yuan, the project site is 77,361.96 m³, and the construction site is Jinhua Village, Kongguo Township. The company and its holding subsidiary Hejia New Energy Vehicle Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Hejia New Energy”) jointly funded the registration of Nehe Qidi Environmental Energy Co., Ltd. (formerly Nehe Sandy Environmental Protection Co., Ltd., hereinafter referred to as “Nehe Environmental Protection”) in Nehe City, which is specifically responsible for the investment, construction and operation of domestic waste incineration power generation projects in Nehe City.
In 2021, the Nehe Domestic Waste Incineration Power Generation Project was affected by various factors such as project approval timeliness and project yield. After friendly negotiations with the owners, the company signed a transfer agreement with Wuhu Conch Investment Co., Ltd. to transfer 100% of Nehe Environmental Protection's shares and withdraw from the Nehe Domestic Waste Incineration Power Generation Project.
Recently, after discussions among various parties, the Nehe Municipal People's Government plans to appoint Nehe State-owned Capital Investment and Operation Group Co., Ltd. (“Nehe SDIC”) to raise funds to renew the project by issuing bonds and undertake shares in Nehe Environmental Protection. The company and Nehe SDIC signed an equity transfer framework agreement for the Nehe project.
