According to the news, Pudat Technology recently announced that since April 1, 2023, the company has received 83 purchase orders and prototype orders for semiconductor wafer cleaning, solar cell wet processing, and solar cell copper plating equipment from various customers, an increase of 22 equipment orders over those disclosed in the company's announcement dated September 12, 2023. Revenue from these purchase orders and prototype orders has yet to be confirmed.
Guolian Securities believes that although the overall boom in the semiconductor industry was weak in 2023, semiconductor equipment companies relied on continuous product expansion and downstream customers were more willing to localize, and domestic equipment companies still achieved relatively rapid growth. In 2024, equipment companies are still expected to continue to increase product coverage and speed up the pace of introduction of new products. In addition, leading domestic storage manufacturers are in the process of bidding and expanding production, the agency is optimistic about the investment value of semiconductor equipment companies.
