Huakang Biomedical (08622) announced that on January 25, 2024, Ever Charming, the controlling shareholder of the company, sold 652.24 million issued shares of the company (15.59% of the total number of shares issued by the company on the date of this announcement) to a company at a cost of HK$3.2 million.
After the sale is completed, the buyer will hold 652.24 million shares (accounting for about 15.59% of the company's total issued share capital at the date of this announcement) and become the company's main shareholder (see listing rules for definition), and Ever Charming and Zhang Xianyang will no longer hold any shares in the company and will no longer be controlling shareholders of the company.
