Gelonghui, January 23 | Smart Sports (01661.HK) announced that the board of directors of the company was informed by Queen Media Co., Ltd. (the controlling shareholder of the company, all of its shares are considered to be ultimately owned by Executive Director Ren Wen). On January 23, 2024, Queen Media sold a total of 400 million shares to an independent third party at an average price of HK$0.25 per share of the company's shares, at a total cost of HK$100 million.
Following the completion of the sale, Queen Media held 203 million shares, accounting for approximately 12.73% of the company's issued share capital on the date of this announcement. After the sale was completed, Queen Media and Ms Ren Wen ceased to be controlling shareholders of the company.
