On January 23, Ge Longhui Group (08371.HK) announced that according to a preliminary review of the Group's unaudited comprehensive management accounts for the nine months ended December 31, 2023, the Group is expected to record significant growth. Revenue increased by more than 42% over the nine months ended 31 December 2022.
The reasons for the increase were mainly due to: (1) more restaurants opened during this period and those that opened last year contributed a full nine months of turnover during the period; (2) an increase in per capita consumption; and (3) the ban on dine-in after 6 p.m., from early January 2022 to late April 2022 during the same period.
