Sipa Resources Ltd (ASX:SRI) has enhanced the geological capabilities of its management team through the appointment of highly experienced geologist Anna Price as exploration manager, commencing immediately.

She brings a strong mix of technical skills, management experience and diverse commodity exposure to the ASX-listed explorer.

Exploration credentials

Price has almost 30 years of experience in the mining and exploration industry in a wide variety of commodities including copper, gold, lithium and base metals across Australia, Oman and Portugal.

Her recent experience includes more than three-and-a-half years at Sandfire Resources as exploration superintendent, six years with LSE-listed Savannah Resources in Oman and Portugal, as well as senior roles with Silver Lake Resources (ASX:SLR) and De Grey Mining.

Price’s appointment significantly strengthens Sipa’s exploration capabilities given her considerable and diverse technical experience in a range of commodities and terrains.

“Diverse experience”

Sipa managing director Andrew Muir said: “We are excited to have a geologist of Anna’s experience and calibre join the Sipa team in this key role.

"Her diverse experience across a range of key commodities will be instrumental as we look to progress and refine our existing project portfolio and target new growth opportunities.”

Price holds a B.Sc in Geology from La Trobe University and an M.Sc from CODES University of Tasmania.
