According to the Zhitong Finance App, Fuhui International Group Holdings (01034) issued an announcement that Ma Xiaoqiu has been removed from the position of non-executive director and chairman of the company, effective January 16, 2024. This dismissal is in the overall best interests of the company and its shareholders. After considering that Ms. Ma has been absent from all board meetings since December 2023; and that Ms. Ma's management style and philosophy are significantly different from other board members.
After her dismissal, Ms. Ma ceased to serve as Chairman of the Board of Directors, a member of the Board's Remuneration Committee, and Chairman of the Board Nomination Committee. Cheung Ka-er has been appointed as Chairman of the Board's Nomination Committee with effect from January 16, 2024.
