Johnson Electric Holdings (00179) announced that for the nine months ended December 31, 2023, the Group's turnover was US$2,871 billion, up 7% from US$2,674 billion for the same period in fiscal year 22/23. During the period, net exchange rate changes related to the US dollar had a slight impact on the Group's turnover, as the impact of the strengthening of the euro was offset by the weakening of the RMB and the Canadian dollar.
For the nine months ended December 31, 2023, the automotive product group's turnover was US$2,422 million, an increase of US$292 million or 14% over the same period in fiscal year 22/23. This is better than the estimated 10% increase in global light vehicle production over the same period.
