Zhitong Finance App News, Lemon International (03688) announced that on January 10, 2024, Chance Again Limited signed a sales agreement with Crown Investments Ltd. Based on this, Chance Again Limited sold approximately 84.7639 million shares of the company to Crown Investments (accounting for about 6% of the company's total issued shares). The transaction was completed on the same day.

Before the transaction was completed, Chance Again held approximately 417.6 million shares of the company (accounting for about 29.56% of the company's total issued shares). According to the Securities and Futures Ordinance (Chapter 571 of the Laws of Hong Kong), the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of the Company, Wong Chun-hong, is deemed to have an interest in 417.6 million shares held by Chance Again. Along with his personal rights and interests in a controlled corporation, Mr. Wong has an interest in a total of approximately 422.8 million shares (accounting for about 29.93% of the company's total issued shares).

Before the transaction was completed, Crown Investments held approximately 228 million shares (about 16.14% of the company's total issued shares). Crown Investments is wholly and indirectly owned by Metro China Holdings Limited (Metro, whose shares are listed on the main board of the Singapore Exchange). Metro has interests in a total of approximately 228 million shares (about 16.17% of the company's total issued shares) through Crown Investments and another wholly-owned subsidiary. Metro and its subsidiaries (collectively known as the “Metro Group”) operate two core business segments: Property Investment and Development and Retail, focusing on the five main markets of Singapore, China, Indonesia, the United Kingdom and Australia.

Following the completion of the transaction and the date of this announcement, Wong Chun-hong and Merro Group held approximately 338 million shares and 313 million shares respectively (accounting for about 23.93% and 22.17% of the total number of issued shares of the company), and are still major shareholders of the company.
