At the 2024 Global 6G Development Conference held in Shanghai, the leader of China's 6G advancement team, Wang Zhiqin, was interviewed by reporters. Wang Zhiqin told reporters that for the future vision of 6G, she hopes to surpass traditional communication and achieve a comprehensive network that includes perception, data AI computing, and more. Currently, including China, Europe, the USA, Japan, South Korea, and India, 3GPP standard partners are jointly developing the 6G standard. In June 2025, the technical standard research for 6G will be launched, the technical research stage will be completed from 2025 to 2027, and the first version of technical specifications will be completed in March 2029.
