Gelonghui, January 10, 丨 Century Joint Holdings (01959.HK) announced that on January 10, 2024, Guangdong Century United New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (“Century Union New Energy”), an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of the company, has signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with Beijing Xiaoju New Energy Vehicle Technology Co., Ltd. (“Xiaoju New Energy”). The agreement will run from January 10, 2024 to January 9, 2029, and the two sides have agreed to carry out in-depth cooperation in the field of new energy vehicle charging service systems and operation and construction.
According to the agreement, the two sides confirmed strategic cooperation on NEV charging tracks in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. The main elements include: (1) business and technical cooperation. Century United New Energy is making every effort to expand the NEV charging business with the “Octopus Charger” charging station brand. Xiaoju New Energy will provide technical services for “Octopus Charger”, including but not limited to: the “Octopus Charger” WeChat Mini Program, PC charging pile management system (SAAS), and other application technology development. The system is expected to be implemented in the first quarter of 2024; and (2) the two sides will jointly develop new charging scenarios, using the sales network of more than 20 new energy stores under the Group to continue to expand the charging network and charging customer base in the Greater Bay Area to open up one-stop service for customers from car purchase to after-sales charging service scene.
