According to Zhitong Finance App, Merry Health International (02327) announced that from October 20 to 31, 2023, the Group will further carry out a series of transactions involving the sale of Han Shang (600774.SH) shares in the open market. A total of 661,400 Hanshang shares were sold at a total cost of about HK$6.7 million (excluding stamp duty and related fees).
According to the announcement, the sale of Hanshang shares achieved a loss of approximately HK$1.1 million, that is the difference between the total cost received from previous transactions and the total book value of Hanshang shares sold, along with stamp duty and related expenses. The net proceeds collected by the Group from past transactions are approximately HK$6.7 million. The Group currently intends to use net proceeds from past transactions as general working capital or other appropriate investment opportunities.
