On January 8, China Infrastructure Investment (00600.HK) announced that for the year ended 31 December 2021, the Group recorded revenue of approximately HK$3.157 million, compared to approximately HK$127 million for the year ended 31 December 2020. For the year ended 31 December 2021, losses attributable to company owners were approximately HK$582 million, while losses attributable to company owners were approximately HK$279 million for the year ended 31 December 2020.
The increase in losses for the year ended 31 December 2021 was mainly due to (i) loss of approximately HK$249.44 million (2020: approximately HK$779.66 million); (ii) recognition of impairment losses of approximately HK$114 million on property, plant and equipment (2020: HK$87.97 million); (iii) recognition of impairment losses of approximately HK$193 million (2020: HK$407.23 million) on financial assets under the anticipated credit loss model; and (iv) losses attributable to associated companies Loss of HK$170 million ( 2020: HK$145 million) as a result.
