Gelonghui, January 2 | Jinshan Energy (00663.HK) announced that the company's board of directors noticed that some people alleged that the company launched a mobile application called “Jinshan Energy” (“fraudulent mobile application”). The application contains a fund-raising platform for several solar module products, involving unauthorized use of the company's data, logos, and company details to solicit payments and personal data from fraudulent mobile app users.
The company would like to clarify the following:
(i) The Company has not developed fraudulent mobile applications relating to fund-raising for any of its products, and has not authorized any third party to do so;
(ii) the Company has not launched, promoted or promoted any such fund-raising platforms to the public; and
(iii) The company has no relationship, connection, or affiliation in the operation or maintenance of the fraudulent mobile application, and the company does not play any role in it.
As of the announcement date, the company has taken action to investigate the matter and has reported the incident to the Hong Kong Police Force. The Company will closely monitor any future developments and consider further legal action and seek other available legal remedies it may deem appropriate to protect the interests of the Company and its shareholders.
