Gelonghui, December 29 | China Geely (01387.HK) announced that the company recently discovered that certain bank deposits of some of the company's subsidiaries in certain banks in China have been frozen. As of the date of this announcement, according to the records obtained by the Group, the most recent frozen deposit was approximately RMB 444.8 million.
Prior to the incident, the Group had not received any notice and/or documents from any party regarding the incident, and the company is seeking further information and ascertaining the cause of the incident.
On the date of this announcement, according to the records obtained by the Group, domestic bank deposits totaling approximately RMB 612.0 million were frozen.
