Gelonghui, December 27, 丨 Kangda Food (00834.HK) issued an announcement. On December 22, 2023, the company signed a contract with Hong Kong Maritime Holdings Limited (petitioner). According to this, the petitioner agreed to withdraw the petition, and the company agreed to repay the outstanding amount due to the petitioner (i.e. HK$39 million) within three months after the date of the contract.
At a hearing held on December 27, 2023, the High Court of Hong Kong issued a permit on the petitioner's application to allow the petitioner to withdraw the winding-up petition without issuing a cost order relating to the company and the petitioner.
