Gelonghui December 27丨Haichang Ocean Park (02255.HK) announced that the Changsha-Haichang Xiangjiang Happy Ocean Park (“Changsha Park”), where the Group provides operation services and solutions, will officially open on December 26, 2023.
Changsha Park is invested by Hunan Xiangjiang New Area Investment Group Co., Ltd., a state-owned enterprise in Changsha. The group provides “Haichang” brand authorization, provides corresponding consulting services during the design, construction and preparation stages, and provides operation management consulting services for a period of ten years after trial operation.
Changsha Park is located in the Dawangshan Tourist Resort in Changsha, the center of the Changzhu Tan urban agglomeration, and has obvious geographical advantages. Changsha Park covers a total area of about 300,000 square meters, with a total construction area of about 78,000 square meters. It brings together more than a dozen large and rare polar and marine animals. It is positioned as a first-class next-generation marine-themed large-scale cultural tourism product and immersive cultural tourism research base in China. It is a leading marine theme park in central China.
The board of directors believes that Changsha Park is another large-scale marine-themed cultural tourism benchmark project in cooperation between the Group and local state-owned assets. It marks the fruitful results of the Group's OAAS (Operation is Service Asset-Light Operation Model) business model. It will also further improve the Group's national market layout and enhance brand awareness.
