According to the Zhitong Finance App, Golden Wheel Tiandi Holdings (01232) issued an announcement on matters relating to the non-extension of the maturity date of such property mortgage financing agreements, as well as cross-default under certain loan financing items.
The board of directors of the company has taken note of some media reports that the company may sell related mortgaged properties located at Golden Wheel World, 68 Electric Road, Tin Hau, Hong Kong (that is, Golden Wheel World, Hong Kong). The company has actively sought clarification from the receiver regarding the sale. The board of directors hereby informs the shareholders that the board of directors has been informed by the successor that the successor will notify the company after the pending sale is completed (expected to be reached within December 2023). However, as of the date of this announcement, the Company has not received the relevant notice.
According to the latest publicly available information, the cost of the sale is approximately HK$511 million, and the estimated completion date is January 12, 2024.
