According to the Zhitong Finance App, QPL INT'L (00243) released interim results for the six months ended October 31, 2023. The group achieved revenue of HK$133 million, a year-on-year decrease of 20.4%; loss during the period was HK$20.319 million, compared with a profit of HK$33.429 million for the same period last year; loss of HK$7.04 per share.
During this period, staff costs rose to HK$47 million (2022: HK$42.87 million), accounting for 35.46% of the Group's turnover (2022:25.74%). The Group will continue to implement a number of policies to mitigate the impact of rising labor costs.
