Glonghui, December 7, Bauhinia International Finance (08340.HK) announced that the Group is mainly engaged in providing corporate finance related services, including but not limited to general corporate finance consulting, placement and underwriting, and initial public offering related projects. Although the Group intends to maintain the continued operation of its current main business, the Group has been exploring and identifying potential investment opportunities to develop and diversify the Group's existing business portfolio, thereby diversifying its revenue sources and achieving long-term sustainable development, thereby maximizing shareholder returns.
The Group plans to expand its main business through licensing cooperation with game developers to engage in online game business in overseas markets. Taking into account (among others) the predicted growth of the global mobile online gaming industry; (ii) the increasing usage rate of global smartphones; (iii) the convenience and accessibility of mobile online games (which can be played anytime, anywhere); and (iv) the growing popularity of augmented reality and virtual reality games, the Board believes that the Group's development of the mobile online game business is in the overall interests of the Company and its shareholders.
Currently, the Group is in negotiations with a number of online game developers (“developers”) on potential licensing cooperation. According to the proposed cooperation, the Group will obtain exclusive operating rights, promotion rights and revenue generation rights for its self-developed online games in overseas markets (including Europe, the US and Southeast Asia) from developers. At the same time, the Group has identified and selected a number of online game operators with popular online platforms to potentially cooperate with the Group in the operation, promotion and promotion of licensed games. Once licensing rights for licensed games are obtained, the Group plans to jointly operate and promote such games with game operators.
To promote the development of the online game business, the Group plans to recruit personnel with relevant industry skills, knowledge and experience, establish an internal team that specializes in licensing game operations, and designate resources to carry out sales, promotion and promotion activities for licensed games.
