Tianjie Environmental (01527) announced that on December 5, 2023, the board of directors of Zhejiang Tianjie Environmental Technology Co., Ltd. received the resignation from Lan Lei. He will resign as a non-executive director, effective from the day he proposed the appointment of a new non-executive director to fill the temporary vacancy caused by Mr. Inlan's resignation, so that he can spend more time on his personal affairs.
In view of Mr. Lan's resignation, the board of directors intends to nominate Yu Ji to replace Mr. Lan as a non-executive director. The proposed appointment of Ms. Yu is subject to approval by shareholders in the form of an ordinary resolution at the special shareholders' meeting before it can be implemented. Ms. Yu's term of office will begin after approval by shareholders at the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders and end on May 30, 2025.
