The Group's revenue was HK$901 million, a decrease of about 17% from the previous year; losses attributable to shareholders were HK$916 million, while profit for the same period last year was HK$386.66 million; loss per share was HK$0.69.
According to the announcement, profit/loss was mainly due to (i) a decrease in investment income; (ii) further calculation of anticipated credit loss provisions for financial asset investment; and (iii) a higher share of profits confirmed by property development joint ventures in the previous period.
