The company announced its annual results for the year ended August 31, 2023, and recorded profit attributable to shareholders of RMB 32.263 million (RMB, same below), an increase of 183.5% over the previous year; basic profit per share of 1.1 points. It is proposed to pay a final dividend of HK0.4 cents per share and a special dividend of HK0.7 cents per share.
During the period, the company's revenue was 762 million yuan, an increase of 38.3% over the previous year, mainly due to the combined impact of the increase in tuition fees, accommodation fees and cafeteria operating expenses in line with the increase in the number of students enrolled in the Group; and the combined impact of the increase in non-academic education service fees and overseas study consulting services.
