Lu Weibing, partner, president and general manager of the Redmi brand, said that the global sales volume of Redmi phones will reach 1 billion units in ten years. In the next ten years, facing the global market, Redmi will drive the domestic supply chain, achieve a comprehensive output value of 2 trillion dollars, and push the domestic supply chain from catching up to leadership.

The Redmi K70 series released this time are all equipped with Xiaomi Surge OS. It includes three products, the Redmi K70 Pro is equipped with the third-generation Snapdragon 8 flagship platform, and the price starts at 3,299 yuan; the Redmi K70 is equipped with the second-generation Snapdragon 8 mobile platform, which starts at 2,499 yuan; and the Redmi K70 e debuted the Tianji 8300-Ultra next-generation AI chip, with prices starting at 1999 yuan.

“The past ten years have been a decade of continuous growth for Redmi and a decade of full evolution for Redmi.” Lu Weibing said that in the new decade, Xiaomi will become a “leader in a new generation of global hard core technology,” while Redmi is the ballast stone of the Xiaomi Group's mobile phone business. Since this year, Redmi has released three products.

He said that Redmi's growth over ten years is inseparable from the support of domestic supply chain partners. Currently, there are about 300 domestic supply chain partners cooperating with Xiaomi, including Ruisheng Technology, Shunyu Optics, Tianma Microelectronics, Shanghai Well Semiconductor, BYD Electronics, TCL Huaxing, and Sunwoda Energy.

At the press conference, Redmi and core industry chain partners jointly announced the opening of a new ten-year global industrial chain cooperation framework and the launch of the “2 trillion new ambition plan”. In the next ten years, facing the global market, Redmi will drive the domestic supply chain, achieve a comprehensive output value of 2 trillion dollars, and push the domestic supply chain from catching up to leading.

According to reports, Redmi has also reached a new consensus with domestic supply chain companies on the future development of China's technology industry chain and proposed four development initiatives. These include: firmly continuing “hard core innovation” is the proposition of the times; being rooted in China and connecting the “chain” to the world is an inevitable choice; “Self-reliance and self-improvement, while cooperation and openness” is the only way to continue development; and the rise of trillion-level industrial clusters will reshape the global value chain pattern.
