According to the Zhitong Finance App, Hong Kong Food Investment (00060) released interim results for the six months ended September 30, 2023. The group achieved revenue of HK$111 million during the period, a year-on-year decrease of 2.6%; losses attributable to shareholders of HK$7.16 million; profit attributable to shareholders of HK$7.16 million; profit attributable to shareholders for the same period last year was HK$9.415 million, which turned profit and loss over the previous year; and a basic loss of 2.76 HK cents per share.
According to the announcement, the profit to loss was mainly due to a decrease in profits attributable to associated companies and an increase in the fair value loss of the group's financial assets.
