Gelonghui November 29丨Lanhe Holdings (00498.HK) announced interim results. For the six months ended September 30, 2023, the Group's continued operations recorded comprehensive revenue of approximately HK$39 million (2022: HK$43 million) and gross profit of approximately HK$17 million (2022: HK$6 million). During the period, the Group recorded a loss before tax of approximately HK$82 million (2022: HK$43 million) from continuing operations.
The net loss for the period attributable to company owners was approximately HK$82 million (2022: HK$169 million), while the basic loss per share was approximately HK$7.9 cents (2022: HK15.3 cents). The decrease in net losses during the period was mainly due to the net impact of the following factors: (a) After the sale of loss-making business in the year ended March 31, 2023, there was no impact of losses from discontinued operations during the period. Discontinued projects and China's property business recorded losses of approximately HK$126 million attributable to shareholders in the previous period; (b) the performance of shared ventures was converted from profits of about HK$25 million in the previous period to losses of about HK$36 million in the current period; and (c) impairment losses on financial assets during the period were returned to about HK$24 million, while losses on financial asset impairment in the previous period were returned to about HK$1 million.
